Founded in 2017, The STEM Belle means The Beautiful girl in STEM and we believe that women can be everything: confident in Steel Toes and elegant in Stilettos. We are focused on levelling up the female representation in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics fields by attracting, retaining and advancing more girls and young women to STEM subjects and fields.

Attracting: Girls in senior primary and junior secondary government schools (Year 4 – Year 9), from economically underserved communities. Retaining and advancing: Girls and young women in Senior secondary schools and tertiary institutions
To create awareness about diverse the facets of STEM and towards increasing choice options when choosing STEM courses.
To provide information about the increasing career and job opportunities available in STEM fields, such as jobs, scholarships, internships and professional development programs.
To reduce the cost of studying STEM in secondary school, to encourage interest in the field.
To empower teachers with modern pedagogical skills of teaching STEM subjects, for increased student engagement, understanding and learning.
